Bill has been with SAS since 1982 in a wide variety of roles, from AP strategy to hands on consulting, training & technical support. Bill is responsible for Technical Support in ANZ and Asia Pacific and Installation & Configuration in ANZ and also acts as an advocate on technology, architecture and knowledge sharing.

Presentation Abstract

Many people associate the mainframe with lineprinter output, green test screens, and batch processing. SAS has continually enhanced SAS^® for z/OS with new z/OS features, as well as providing mainframe users access to open standards that allow the mainframe to participate in a modern distributed computing environment. This presentation will provide both architectural options, as well as discuss specific features that will help all Base SAS users on the mainframe.
